Sirakovo  is a village in Northeastern Bulgaria, part of General
Toshevo municipality, Dobrich region.
It is 44 km away from Dobrich,
84 km from Varna

The relief is hilly-plain - extensive fertile fields alternate with
low, green hills. The climate is temperate continental and is
characterized by hot summer, warm autumn, cold winter with heavy snow
and sunny and cool spring. The population is about 300 people.

objects - a testimony that life in these places has existed since the
Thracian-Roman era.
In the past the village was called Karaali. Its name is due to the
rich Turkish cattle-breeder Kara / Black / Ali, who had a farmhouse in
the area. Over time, the village's name has begun to admit as Karali.
The village boasts an outstanding boom in the late 19th and early 20th
century. In 1907 Yordan Yovkov was the teacher here. It is in Carlisle
that the writer finds the prototypes of some of his characters.
