Property Description

2 x House in Benkovski

Benkovski is a very well developed village only 7km from Karapelit and 20km from Dobrich, close to the main road to Tervel.  It has a peaceful feel, but good infrastructure, with many shops, restaurants and cafes along with medical facilities and good communications.

These two properties are approached by stone track and close to the centre and all facilities.  Both houses are in reasonable condition, but need renovation.  In addition to the houses, there is a double garage and very spacious outbuildings.

The first house comprises three rooms and a hall, whilst the second consists of three rooms and bathroom.
The HUGE yard of 3600 sqm could be used for development and currently is in excellent order with nut and plum trees and grapes. Electricity, phone and water are all available. European families are already to be found in this village.

ALBENA. This blue flag winning beach resort boasts a wide sandy beach stretching to 5km in length. There are sport and recreational facilities along with night clubs, bars, taverns and folk-style places. In fact, something to suit most tastes

BALCHIK is a picturesque seaside resort and traditional fishing town with many top quality restaurants serving freshly caught fish and of course traditional food and Bulgarian wine. Take a walk along the promenade and soak up the wonderful atmostphere. Worth a visit here is The Palace & Gardens of Queen Marie and the park which has a unique collection of over 50 species of cactus plants.

Balchik is rich in culture and offers a great selection of cafes & restaurants, many of which overlook the marina. There is also a small water park on the esplanade which is ideal for kids.

Sea fishing is also possible in the harbor. At night, during summer season, you can enjoy walking along the marina with plenty of entertainment and shopping. The town's top attraction is the Botanic Gardens and Summer Palace of the Romanian Queen Marie. The stone building and gardens are beautifully maintained.

The picturesque town of Balchik is situated only 30 minutes from Varna airport.

The area is set to become Bulgaria's St Tropez and boasts 3 golf courses and sailing, with over 50 shops. Also including fitness centre, hairdressers and yacht charter. Balchik has 2 small beaches ideal for that relaxing retreat. Only a 10 minute drive away is the resort of Albena which boasts a glorious beach with golden sand and water sports.

CAPE KALIAKRA with it's wonderful views and stalls selling local craft is a must place to visit. You can relax over a drink or meal at the restaurant overlooking the sea and you may be lucky to get a glimse of the dolphins.
The Cape was the site of an ancient fortress, and some of the remains can still be seen. There are also some artefacts displayed in the museum.

KAVARNA is a fast developing sea resort. Rich in history. This clean and welcoming town has preserved it's authentic appearance in spite of it's rapid development as a tourist centre and catering for the new influx of golfers to the area. Kavarna is famous for it's Art and Music Festivals during the summer.

DOBRICH is the nearest major town to Balchik. Admidst the hustle and bustle of this centre is the historic old town full of little shops and boutiques displaying a selection of local craft and pottery, etc. Dobrich has numerous museums and several art galleries, it also boasts a variety of clubs, pubs and good quality restaurants. A three course meal with wine/beer will cost about £8.00.

VARNA. The gem of the Bulgarian Black Sea. During the summer season the sunshine allows 10 - 11 hours of sunbathing. The sea is amazingly calm and free from dangerous tides. A visit to Varna would not be complete without a stroll through Seaside Park, the biggest park in Varna situated by the beach. Within the park area one can find the Seaside Baths, the Navy Museum, the Aquarium and Dolphinarium with amusing shows, also the Astronomical Observatory. You are spoilt for choice as to where to eat but recommended is Captain Cook's if you like fish dishes. Before you leave Varna at night take a look at the lit up Catherdal, it's awesome.
