Buyers are flocking to Eastern Europe, say recent reports, with investors interested in Commercial Property, Developments, Holiday Homes, Land, New Homes and Residential Property. But is there really a growing demand for Romania property?
Romania is a nation situated at the crossroads of Middle and Southeastern Europe on the Lower Danube, within and outside the Carpathian posture, surrounding on the Black Sea. Romania shares a boundary with Hungary and Serbia on its western side, and Ukraine and Moldova on its northeast and eastern sides.
The first half of the last century saw the rise of Henry Enescu, Romania’s biggest musician. A natural player, Enescu designed his first musical composition at the age of five and became an attained musician, violinist, piano player, conductor and trainer. The yearly Henry Enescu Competition is awarded in Bucharest in his honour. Also effective in this period was Dinu Lipatti, a piano player significant for his understanding of Chopin, Mozart and Pachelbel.
Some well-known post-war Romanian performers are Nancy Tănase, Tudor Gheorghe, and virtuoso of the pan flute Gheorghe Zamfir, the latter having sold over 120 thousand albums around the world.
Artists from Romania have recently begun to make their way onto the worldwide pop music stage, gaining a lot of views on YouTube and promoting tons of singles. Among the best known are She, Alexandra Stan and Inna.
Maya’s “Stereo Love” became the first number one in Billboard’s year-end Airplay chart to have attained number one three times, contending in a line-up that involved Girl Crazy. Since this year’s release of “Stereo Love”, the Bucharest-born musician has won precious gold and platinum albums and toured places as varied as India and Pakistan.
Inna, however, has been the most effective, having sold nearly two thousand singles around the world, especially in the US. Inna has had more than 114 thousand views on YouTube and more than two thousand followers on Facebook or myspace.
